Who We Are

About Us

The Curators brings together photo journalist Peter Dench with creative director Sharon Price.

Their expertise lies not only in sourcing some of the most significant past and current works, but in formulating events that people want to be part of. Their sell-out events bring people from all walks of life together to talk business, close deals or simply to appreciate art for art’s sake. They are a discreet and professional partner for invite-only gatherings and have a strong portfolio of private entertainment.

“I love working with Sharon. Her energy, astute business sense and effervescent flair match her drive and ambition for exciting and unique projects. Her firm belief and passion for her work, as well as her vast portfolio of skills, make any project possible.”
Isabelle Stead, Managing Director, Human Film

Peter is an award-winning international photographer, writer, published author and presenter with more than 15 years’ experience working extensively across the globe. Sharon is a curator and creative director who conceptualised and brought to life a successful city startup and has experience working with artists, community organisations and award-winning creative brands such as Opera North, Getty and Saatchi. They have both, individually and as a team achieved recognition in the international press and broadcast media, such as The Sunday Times, BBC 4 Frontrow, Channel 4, CNN, Daily Telegraph and Vogue.

Peter and Sharon also co-founded White Cloth Gallery in 2012 – a photography & film, bar and events space in the heart of the thriving professional services hub in one of the UK’s fastest growing cities. Within three years, under their creative leadership, the gallery became a go-to cultural destination. Collaborations were established with industry trailblazers including Getty Images, Hungry Eye Portrait Salon and Miniclick.

During their directorship, they delivered an eclectic programme of exhibitions, film premieres, book signings, talks, fashion shows, pop-up events and theatrical productions and were recognised as a key venue in the 2014 Yorkshire Festival, celebrating Le Grand Départ of the Tour de France. Peter and Sharon’s commitment was recognised in 2013 with a White Rose Awards nomination for Arts and Culture.
